Intimacy Director
Since 2015 Lizzy has been researching and advocating for safer intimacy on stage with regards to nudity, simulated sex and sexual violence. Lizzy created Theatrical Intimacy in 2016 as the first intimacy company dedicated to improving industry standards around safer intimate practice in the UK. She is a certified Intimacy Director with IDC in the USA and Intimacy for Stage and Screen in the UK. Lizzy has trained as a movement director and fight director and is currently training the next generation of Intimacy Directors. Lizzy is also working within the Opera industry to create beautiful, dynamic and safe intimacy to this spectacular art form.
